New Eligibility System
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is creating a menu of options for consumers applying for state services, including Medicaid, food stamps, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and long-term care. In the new system, Texans will be able to apply for services by phone, in person, over the Internet and by fax or mail. [New Eligibility System]
